As you approach the entry you are struck by the cantilevered awning roof blending an industrial steel section with the natural timber-lined ceiling. A thick sandstone blade wall continues past the double-height aluminium framed entry unit housing a 2.7m high cedar-lined pivot door.

The architectural features don’t stop there. As you enter the gallery, you are greeted by more feature sandstone offset by custom full-height timber-framed glass sliding doors on either side. The cantilevered staircase was an engineering challenge, but the end result was worthwhile. The focal points of the backyard are the 35-year-old Dragon trees and industrial seating structure surrounding the fire pit area.
